The arranger has taken the first two movements of the Cello Sonata in E Minor by the Italian baroque composer Marcello and crafted them into a beautiful, very playable setting for full string orchestra. Young string players will enjoy the full-sounding minor key harmonies and the running sixteenth-note passages of the second movement.
